The ACT Government will invest $150 million for the Sustainable Household Scheme to offer interest free loans of up to $15,000 to help households with the upfront costs of investing in rooftop solar panels, battery storage systems and efficient electric appliances (Hot Water Heat pumps). Eligibility for the Scheme has changed as at 1 July 2023 whereby only homes with a UV of $450K or less are eligible for solar. However, you may still be eligible for other energy efficient products such as heat pumps, batteries and stovetops.
